We’re hiring! We’re looking for a hyper organized marketing and project support person.

Things are happening at Say Yeah that are making the business development and creative director’s heads spin.
So much on the go, so many projects with so many emails to sift through, blog articles to write, and people to connect with.
If you’re the kind of person who has a passion for design and loves playing with apps, while slightly OCD about being organized, we want to hear from you.
NXNE Interactive and the black hole of Facebook.

I’ll be at NXNE Interactive tomorrow with an exceptional panel talking about marketing your brand on Facebook and beyond. The Black Hole of Facebook talks about how marketers are spending all of their dollars on driving users to Like brand pages, but then what…?
Jay Goldman and I originally set this up as a dual presentation but he’s off to Boston on business…sooooo, I’m thrilled we were able to gather such an awesome panel of client and agency side brains to help walk through this topic with you.

Why brands should embrace not just influencers, but superfans.
Erin Bury’s got a nice followup on the Diet Coke TIFF event she recently attended, harkening back to the work that I’ve done on brand communities. It shows that not much has changed in the 4 years since this presentation and since social media flooded the brand landscape.
The mobile app market.
With Apple’s App Store and mobile apps on Android, Blackberry and the soon to be released Windows Phone 7 providing access to tens of millions of on the go customers, there’s a good chance you may be interested in moving your content from Web and into the proprietary app market.
Sadly, mainstream media is already on the app market doomsday bandwagon with Fast Company’s “Expert Blogger” Aaron Shapiro pontificating about “The Great App Bubble”. Backing his leaps of logic up by making statements that don’t correlate to his points, Aaron looks to be on a mission to save companies from this impending app bubble, where small businesses implode, VC money is lost, and developers are left homeless. He’s discovered 8 signs of the impending app bubble, all centered around Apple’s slice of the market. Let’s have a look see:

SXSW 2011 panel picker voting in full swing.

We in the interactive industry are in the throws of deciding SXSW 2011 panels and presentations with panel picker voting in full swing. I found much to complain about last year after wandering into far too many crap sessions so I’m taking the initiative to help improve the quality by voting heartily, pitching our own presentation (a collaborative effort with Jon Lax that I believe is very important for the creative industry), and I’ve compiled a list of standout sessions for your perusal. Take a look and please take the time to vote for the sessions that interest you.
